Detailled Itineray

Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Upon arrival in Errachidia, whether at the airport or your accommodation, you’ll be welcomed and driven south toward the desert. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes of the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. You’ll stop to admire panoramic views and take photos before continuing your journey toward Merzouga. Upon arrival near the Erg Chebbi dunes, you’ll check into your accommodation and have time to relax or explore the nearby village before dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 2: Explore Merzouga – Camel Ride – Desert Camp

After breakfast, the day is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga region. You’ll visit the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music and rich cultural heritage. You’ll also meet local nomadic families living in traditional tents and learn about their way of life. Later in the afternoon, the real adventure begins with a camel trek across the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. You’ll witness a stunning desert sunset before arriving at your camp, where a traditional Berber dinner will be served. Spend the night under a star-filled sky, with music and storytelling around the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga – Errachidia (Departure)

Early risers can watch the sunrise over the dunes before riding camels back to the village. After breakfast and a shower at your accommodation, you’ll begin the return journey to Errachidia. You’ll travel again through the Ziz Valley with chances to stop for photos or enjoy a mint tea along the way. The tour ends in Errachidia, with drop-off at the airport or your chosen location.


