Day 1: Arrival in Fes
Upon your arrival at Fes Sais Airport, you will be transferred to your riad located in the heart of the medina. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a gentle introduction to the city’s winding alleys and historic ambiance. Overnight in Fes.
Day 2: Exploring Fes Medina and Monuments
After breakfast, dive into the rich heritage of Fes with a guided tour. Visit the royal palace area and the Mellah (Jewish quarter), then a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the medina’s rooftops and minarets. Wander through UNESCO-listed souks, ancient madrasas, and marvel at the centuries-old architecture, including the famous Bou Inania Madrasa and the world’s oldest university, Al Quaraouiyine.
Day 3: Fes to Merzouga via Middle Atlas and Ziz Valley
Depart Fes and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Ifrane known as “Morocco’s Switzerland” and the cedar forests home to wild monkeys. Lunch in Midelt, then continue through the stunning Ziz Valley with its lush palm groves and kasbahs. Arrive in Merzouga by afternoon. Day 4: Desert Exploration and Nomadic Life
Spend the day discovering the desert landscape. Visit fossil sites, the oasis of Tissardmine, and a nomadic village to learn about traditional lifestyles. Relax with tea while enjoying live Gnawa music in the village of Khamlia. As evening falls, embark on a camel caravan into the desert for an unforgettable sunset and overnight in a nomadic-style tent beneath the stars.
Day 5: Sunrise and Journey to Todra Gorges
Rise early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel to Merzouga. Travel onwards to the lively market town of Rissani, with the chance to explore its vibrant souk. Continue to Erfoud, where you can visit a fossil workshop. Then pass through palm groves on your way to the dramatic Todra Gorges a stunning canyon carved by the Todra River, popular with hikers and climbers. Overnight in the Dades Valley.
Day 6: Dades Valley, Roses Valley, and Ouarzazate
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Dades Valley’s kasbahs before continuing to the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm groves. Arrive in Ouarzazate and visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah and famous film studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou and Marrakech
Tour the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a striking fortified village featured in numerous films. After lunch, journey over the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi Ntichka pass with scenic stops. Arrive in Marrakech by early evening, with free time to explore the famous Jemaa el-Fna square.
Day 8: Leisure Day in Marrakech

Day 9: Return to Fes via Middle Atlas
Depart Marrakech and traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains once again, passing through Beni Mellal and Khenifra with breaks for rest and lunch. In summer, there is an option to visit the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls. Arrive back in Fes for your final night.
Day 10: Departure from Fes
