Detailled Itineray
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Arrive at Marrakech airport and transfer to your accommodation near the lively Jemaa el-Fna square to settle in and soak up the city’s atmosphere.
Day 2: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
Depart Marrakech after breakfast, heading toward Casablanca. Visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s tallest and most magnificent religious sites. Continue to Rabat to explore landmarks such as the Oudayas Kasbah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the iconic Hassan Tower. Overnight stay in Rabat.
Day 3: Rabat to Chefchaouen
Travel northwest toward the picturesque town of Chefchaouen, famous for its striking blue-painted streets. Enjoy panoramic views from a lookout point before descending into the medina to wander its quaint alleys. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 4: Chefchaouen to Fes
After breakfast, journey to Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart. Check into your accommodation and prepare for exploration.
Day 5: Discovering Fes
Join a local guide for a full day exploring Fes’ UNESCO-listed medina — one of the largest medieval cities in the world. Visit the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter, and bustling souks, and marvel at the city’s centuries-old crafts and traditions. Overnight in Fes.
Day 6: Fes to Merzouga Desert Camp
Depart Fes early and pass through Ifrane (known as Morocco’s “Little Switzerland”), the cedar forests of Azrou with its playful Barbary macaques, and the breathtaking Ziz Valley with its vast palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga in the evening, ready for a night in a desert camp.
Day 7: Exploring Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi Dunes
Spend the day discovering the desert region around Merzouga. Visit the village of Khamlia, home to descendants of sub-Saharan slaves known for their soulful Gnawa music. Explore nearby Berber villages before returning to the desert camp for dinner and traditional music under the stars.
Day 8: Merzouga to Todra Gorge and Dades Valley
Ride camels back to the edge of the desert and continue to the town of Rissani to visit its bustling local market. Then head to the stunning Todra Gorge, with its towering canyon walls, followed by the scenic Dades Valley. Overnight in the Dades region.
Day 9: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Travel along the “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs” through Ouarzazate and the cinematic landscapes of the Ounila Valley. Visit the spectacular UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah before heading back over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech
Day 10: Marrakech City Tour
Enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech’s highlights including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque minaret, Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. Savor lunch near Jemaa el-Fna square and spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant medina at your leisure.
Day 11: Departure from Marrakech
Enjoy a free morning to stroll the medina or relax before your transfer to Marrakech airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your unforgettable Moroccan journey.
