Day 1: Casablanca to Chefchaouen (Blue City)
Pick up from your hotel in Casablanca and drive towards the Rif Mountains, enjoying beautiful landscapes along the way. Arrive in Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted buildings, believed to keep mosquitoes away. Explore the city’s charming streets, take stunning photos, and enjoy the local atmosphere. Overnight in a riad or hotel.
Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes
After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and drive through the Rif Mountains towards Fes, Morocco’s cultural capital. On the way, visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the holy city of Moulay Idriss. Arrive in Fes, check into your accommodation, and enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore the city. Overnight in Fes.
Day 3: Fes to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Desert)
Leave Fes after breakfast, traveling through Ifrane (the “Switzerland of Morocco”) and the cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see wild monkeys. Enjoy lunch in a Berber restaurant in Zaida, then continue through the Atlas Mountains to Midelt and Erfoud. Arrive at Merzouga village at Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience a camel ride into the desert to watch the sunset, then spend the night in a Berber desert camp with traditional music by the fire.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Tinghir – Boumalne Dades
After breakfast, visit Rissani’s vibrant souk, famous for dates and unique market goods. Continue to Tinghir and explore its spectacular gorge before heading to Boumalne Dades, located at the edge of the Dades Valley desert plateau. Overnight in a hotel or riad.
Day 5: Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi Ntichka – Marrakech
After breakfast, drive towards Marrakech via Ouarzazate, visiting the famous film studios. Stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah where many films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones were shot. Explore the Kasbah and learn about its history and culture. After lunch, cross the stunning Tizi Ntichka mountain pass through the Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech, the “Red City.” Spend the afternoon at leisure to explore or relax. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 6: Departure from Marrakech or Casablanca
After breakfast, transfer to either Marrakech or Casablanca airport according to your flight schedule. End of your 6 days Moroccan adventure.
