Day 1: Arrival in Fes

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Fes Airport, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation in the heart of the old medina. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first stroll through this ancient city’s alleyways and markets. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Discovering Fes – The Spiritual Capital

Spend the day uncovering Fes, the country’s most intellectually and spiritually significant city. Visit medieval theological schools such as Bou Inania and Attarine, the world’s oldest university at Al Quaraouiyine, and the maze-like souks of the medina. Expect stunning mosaics, traditional craftsmanship, and a deeply rooted cultural atmosphere.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, depart for the Sahara through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass through Ifrane (nicknamed “Morocco’s Switzerland”) and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, continue through the Ziz Valley, with its dramatic gorges and oases, arriving in Merzouga by afternoon. Mount your camel and ride into the dunes to watch the sunset. Day 4: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomads – Erg Chebbi

Explore seasonal salt lakes, fossil beds, and visit nomadic families who call the desert home. Later, take another camel ride into the heart of Erg Chebbi for a second magical night under the Saharan sky.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake early to catch the sunrise before riding back to Merzouga. Travel through the bustling market town of Rissani and visit a local fossil workshop in Erfoud. Continue through palm groves and the striking Todra Gorges massive limestone cliffs ideal for hiking and photography. End the day in the serene Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a cozy guesthouse.

Day 6: Dades – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Drive through the Valley of Roses and Skoura’s palm groves to reach Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic kasbahs, used as a backdrop in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Cross the High Atlas via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, arriving in Marrakech by evening.

Day 7: Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech

Take a scenic drive to the Atlantic coast to explore Essaouira, a charming old port town known for its blue boats, wind-swept beaches, and artistic vibe. Wander the medina, enjoy fresh seafood by the harbor, and explore the ramparts. Return to Marrakech for your final night in Morocco.

Day 8: Marrakech – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport according to your flight schedule. End of the tour, carrying unforgettable memories of Morocco’s rich landscapes and vibrant culture.
